Rules for appearing on Channel 44
Channel 44 is a community television station broadcasting in Adelaide, Australia.
Community television in Australia follows a differant code of conduct than commercial television networks so please be aware of the differances. Ignorance will not be an acceptable excuse.
Code of Conduct
1: Community television expectations
The 'Adelaide Poker Show' will be shown on community station channel 44 at the time slot they see fit, this will most probably be around the 9pm-11pm mark each weeknight but this could change at their discrection, for this reason all players are expected to use only PG rated language.
There is to be NO abusive, racist, sexist, homophobic, derogatory language to be used. Please note that this list is not complete and may be added to at any time.
Sledging may not involve any disabilities, either physical or mental, or any other language that is banned.
2: Penalties
There will be points allocated to breaches of either poker rules or this code of conduct. The range will be from 1 (minor offensive language) up to 10 (very offensive language) but other offenses (i.e physical violence) may be allocated points over 10.
Please note that offensive language via a male member to a female member will incur a further 2 point penalty.
Each point lost during the night will equate to the loss of 10% of any prize money owed. If there is no prize money then the points will carry over.
If there are more than 10 points lost during a night then the offender will be removed from the current game and further action will be taken; this may include suspension of future games or expulsion.
